MCAS results released today
The Massachusetts Department of Education today released the results of the 2008 MCAS tests and the department said statewide they show impressive math gains in all grades and strong improvement in eighth grade science and gains in English language arts, math and Science, Technology/Engineering in Grade 10.

Chicago aquarium teaches diners which fish to eat

A Shedd Aquarium sushi class advises eaters to choose fish that are abundant in the wild, not bluefin and yellowfin tuna and others that are overfished and face extinction.

After admiring the beauty of fish from all over the world, about 40 guests will retire to a room at the Shedd Aquarium today to learn how to slice 'em up and eat 'em raw.
