Google Calendar gets offline access
As of now people can have read-only access to their Google Calendars through the Calendar Beta link at the top of a user's page. Google uses its Gears software to provide offline support which is available immediately for those using Google Apps Standard Edition (for Premier and Education Edition accounts, domain administrators will first have to switch on the feature via the 'Domain Settings' page of the Google Apps control panel).
